FLOW BESS MOJAVE A1

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Mojave A1 Project is a proposal located in the Mojave Desert 6 miles north of California City and 4 miles east of the Barren Ridge substation within approximately 640 acres of land this BESS project will have a capacity of 2000MW for 12 continuous hours of service. This facility will have 20 battery blocks of 100MW each. Each block will consist of 4 sub-blocks of 25MW each, each of these subgroups will have their respective inverters, switchgear and transformers, in addition to having their monitoring and control equipment. In addition, each of these 25MW groups will have their pumping stations, to circulate the electrolytes through the batteries for their operation. Each 100MW Block will have their respective electrolyte tanks. Each block consists of 4 tanks 100 feet in diameter and 40 feet high. The tank area will count as sump and dyke walls to prevent spills and finally its pumping station to send electrolytes to the batteries. The 20 clustered blocks give a total area of ​​approximately 184 acres. Within this 640 acre land, a vanadium processing plant from different vanadium mines in the country will also be included, in order to produce the compounds that will be involved in the production of the electrolytes that will be used by the batteries, the approximate area of This vanadium processing plant will be 50 acres.
This Project will have its own substation to be able to transmit the energy to the different interconnection points. This installation will have an area of ​​15 acres. Finally, this Project will also consist of its corresponding administrative area, warehouse and parking lots with an area also built of 15 acres.
The total approximate construction area for this Project will be 270 acres located within an available land of 640 acres.

FLOW BESS MOJAVE A2

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This BESS project is a smaller version of the MOJAVE A1 Project with a total installed capacity of 500MW for 12 hours located on 60 acre land 10 miles northwest of California city and half a mile west of the Barren Ridge substation unlike its predecessor (Mojave 1), this Project consists of only 5 blocks of 100 MW with the same characteristics as the previous blocks. Each block will consist of 4 sub-blocks of 25MW each, each of these subgroups will have their respective inverters, switchgear and transformers, in addition to having their monitoring and control equipment. In addition, each of these 25MW groups will have their pumping stations, to circulate the electrolytes through the batteries for their operation. Each 100MW Block will have their respective electrolyte tanks. Each block consists of 4 tanks 100 feet in diameter and 40 feet high.

The tank area will count as sump and dyke walls to prevent spills and finally its pumping station to send electrolytes to the batteries. The 5 clustered blocks give a total area of approximately 45 acres. Within this 640-acre site, a vanadium processing plant from different vanadium mines in the country will also be included, in order to produce the compounds that will be involved in the production of the electrolytes that will be used by the batteries. a substation to connect to the interconnection points and their respective administrative areas, warehouses and parking area giving an approximate area of 12 acres. In total, a construction area of 57 acres. The disposition of the teams for this Project will be a little different since the terrain has an irregular shape unlike the previous one that had a square shape.

FLOW BESS NEENACH

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This Project is very similar to Mojave 1 and is planned to run on 624-acre land, 25 miles north of the Mojave air and space port. Likewise, this facility will also have 20 battery blocks of 100MW each. Each block will consist of 4 sub-blocks of 25MW each, each of these subgroups will have their respective inverters, switchgear and transformers, in addition to having their monitoring and control equipment. In addition, each of these 25MW groups will have their pumping stations, to circulate the electrolytes through the batteries for their operation. Each 100MW Block will have their respective electrolyte tanks. Each block consists of 4 tanks 100 feet in diameter and 40 feet high. The tank area will count as sump and dyke walls to prevent spills and finally its pumping station to send electrolytes to the batteries.

FLOW BESS HARBOR

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The BESS harbor project is located within the vicinity of the harbor generation plant located south of the City of los Angeles. The area available for the installation of batteries is approximately 4 acres located on three different plots, two of these plots are contiguous as shown in the figure which add up to an area of 3 acres in this land. 3 battery blocks of 20MW each will be installed, adding up to a total of 60MW. Each of these blocks will include their electrolyte warping equipment, measurement, control They will have their energy conversion equipment, transformers and switchgear as illustrated in the graphic in addition to their corresponding control room. The remaining land to the west of these blocks with an area of approximately 1 acre will serve to contain the electrolyte tanks, two tanks approximately 100 feet in radius and 40 feet high each.

FLOW BESS SCATTERGOOD

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project is located in the generation plant that bears the same name, this plant is also located in the city of Los Angeles, within its vicinity is an area available for the installation of batteries of approximately 5 acres where it is planned to install a 100MW battery block with a duration of 12 hours. Said block will consist of 4 sub-blocks of 25MW each, each of these subgroups will have their respective inverters, switchgear and transformers, in addition to having their monitoring and control equipment. In addition, each of these 25MW groups will have their pumping stations, to circulate the electrolytes through the batteries for their operation. For this Project in particular, electrolyte tanks will not be installed because this generation plan consists of several tanks that were previously used to store fuels, which are then reused as electrolyte container tanks.

FLOW BESS HAYNES PLANT

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is the largest project within the generation plants located in the Los Angeles area with a generation of 200MW for 12 hours. This Battery Project is located in the facilities of the Hynes generating plant in the City of Los Angeles. The plant has an available free area of ​​approximately 10 acres divided into 3 lots of similar sizes. In total, these 3 lots comprise 9 battery blocks of approximately 22 MW each. Each block will have their respective inverters, switchgear and transformers, in addition to having their monitoring and control equipment. In addition, each of these 22MW groups have their pumping stations, to circulate the electrolytes through the batteries for their operation. Nor electrolyte tanks will be installed for this Project because this generation plan consists of several tanks that were previously used to store fuels which are then reused as electrolyte container tanks.

FLOW BESS DCPP

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The DCPP BESS project is under the same principle of the local projects in the generating plants (HYNES, HARBOR and SCATTERGOOD) which is to use the available area in these generation plants.
DCPP is located near the city From San Luis Obispo and Morrobo bay, the available land within the facilities of this nuclear power plant is approximately 14 acres for the placement of batteries and 4 acres for the tanks, due to its irregular shape, as shown in the image. Batteries in the field are a little different from the rest, another fact to highlight for this project is that the tanks used are much larger than in previous projects, these are 150 feet in diameter and 48 feet in total 4 of these tanks to supply the flow of electrolytes, and as in the other previous projects implemented in power plants. It consists of its pumping areas, transformers and switchgears.
